As good as (if not better) than the previous volumes. Keep up the good work earworms and come on, please don't make us wait so long for volume 4!

"A Perfect Accent"

This program was well worth it!
I listened to the Beginning Italian program for approximately 2 months before my 13 day tour of Italy. My friend was amazed at what I learned. Not only did I learn key phrases, I didn't get bogged down in the minutiae of the language as pertains to grammar.
You may not be able to speak entire paragraphs of random text - but you will know how to ask basic questions, get directions, calculate costs when shopping, and order a bottle of wine.
Furthermore, all of the Italian people that we met told me that my accent was spot on! That definitely came from listening to the tapes. If you are intimidated by the thought of learning a language, but don't want to visit a foreign country without at least being able to understand simple phrases, and say "please" and "Thank You", then this is the program for you.

"A Very Enjoyable Learning Experience"

I bought Rapid Italian in March to get ready for a trip to Italy in April, and it was very compulsive learning. I really enjoyed it. Not only that - it worked! In just a few short weeks I had picked up quite a lot. When I was in Italy I was able to ask for what I wanted in the cafe, get directions, and train times etc. I had it on my iPod Shuffle, and just let it run, sometimes I took notice of it, and sometimes I didn't. But it was invariably there in the background whilst I got on with my work.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't particularly want to do the 'classroom' bit. Some of it is quite amusing, and the music in the background really does help the language to sink in.
Imagine if you listen to the same music CD many times, you inevitably know the tune and the lyrics very well, so it is the same with Earworms. I shall be trying other languages in the series simply because it was so enjoyable.
