while struggling thru the Pimsleur system, I got this for my iPod and find it a delight to use. Music is nice and the text gives you plenty of repetition time. Comments/hints are good as well. If feels like a break from my studies.

Earworms: a relaxing study tool	September 16, 2012

I have studied Chinese language for a few years now and find earworms Rapid Chinese to be a helpful way to study Chinese while taking a break from formal study. If you are like me and like to immerse yourself until you have a good handle on a subject or language. What I have found is often I will find myself not wanting to have to go through a drill or a chatty lesson while running or driving in my car. I will put in Rapid Chinese and find myself at ease, taking in the lessons and learning as I am relaxed and not particularly focused on the lesson, which is set to different rhythms and beats. It is thoughtfully put together and contains some challenge for a newbie, but not in a hard pressed manner. Instead it moves along smoothly and as you listen again and again you comprehend and participate with the 2 friendly and conversant teachers.
